How We Work

The Process

From the first conversation to final delivery, we guide every project with intention and craft.

Our Approach

A clear, collaborative process designed to keep you informed and confident at every stage.

01

Consult

We start with a deep dive into your project - genre, tone, audience, and vision. No template approach.

02

Initial Design

We take a 5-minute excerpt from your work and create a sample to share our thoughts on how it could sound. We then use this stage to review it together and agree on the soundscape before full production begins.

03

Produce

Recording, editing, sound design, and mixing - all handled with broadcast-grade precision and care.

04

Deliver

Mastered, platform-ready audio files delivered on time - with revision rounds built into every project.

Frequently Asked

Everything authors want to know before reaching out - answered.

Do I need to provide my own narrator?
No - we can help you find the right voice for your project. We have relationships with experienced narrators across a wide range of genres and styles. If you already have a narrator in mind, we're happy to work with them.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Just your manuscript and a clear sense of your vision - tone, genre, intended audience, and any reference audio you love. We handle everything from there. A brief discovery call is the best first step so we can scope your project accurately.
How long does production take?
Timelines vary by project size. A standard audiobook typically takes 4–8 weeks from kickoff to final delivery. A full cinematic audio drama episode varies depending on cast size and sound complexity.
What audio formats do you deliver?
We deliver broadcast-ready masters in MP3 and WAV formats, optimised to meet the technical specs for ACX (Audible/Amazon), Findaway Voices, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. If you need a specific format or loudness target, just let us know.
How many revisions are included?
You get 1 free round of revisions included with every package. We can always discuss the need and price of further revisions if your project requires it. We work iteratively, so most projects are in great shape before we're done.
Can you work with a manuscript that's already been recorded?
Absolutely. If you have raw narration files you're happy with, we can take those straight into our sound design and post-production pipeline - adding ambience, music, mixing, and mastering to bring the audio to a cinematic standard.
Do you work with first-time authors?
Yes - and we love it. We'll guide you through every step of the process, explain what to expect at each stage, and make sure you feel confident throughout. You don't need prior audio production experience to work with us.
